This is a batch premix that's packed with the essence associated with holiday season, rendering it excellent for hosting a festive gathering. Save the extra citrus syrup you can use for brunch beverages, desserts, or to make more rounds of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
Ingredients for the Premix (makes 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (as made above)
Fresh cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, to finish
Directions
To prepare the Citrus Syrup: Place all the components in a pot, heat until it reaches a light boil, mixing so the sugar melts. After that, remove from the burner and let it to cool down completely. Pour to a sealable bottle, seal and store chilled, it can be stored for up to one month.
To make Batch Mix: Combine every spirits and syrup into one sizeable container, let it rest for 60 minutes, then strain , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's perfectly clear.
For serving: Measure 85ml of your cocktail base to a stirring glass containing ice, and stir carefully for one minute to cool it down. Strain into a frosted cocktail glass or a similar vessel, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch using a quick spritz of mandarin oil over the top.
